General Principle
To keep the Services secure, reliable, lawful, and available for all users, you must use the Services responsibly. You must not permit, encourage, assist, or instruct any third party to use the Services in a prohibited manner.
Genuine Reviews and Reviewer Choice
You must use ReviewCook only for genuine feedback from real people with real experiences. You must not:
- create, buy, sell, request, submit, or help submit fake reviews, fake ratings, fake scans, fake accounts, or fake engagement;
- offer money, discounts, free goods, free services, loyalty points, gifts, prizes, employment benefits, refunds, or any other incentive in exchange for a review, rating, edit, deletion, or removal;
- pressure, require, coerce, threaten, harass, or punish any Reviewer for leaving, refusing to leave, editing, or deleting a review;
- require or pressure Reviewers to leave reviews while they are on your premises, at checkout, or under staff supervision;
- tell Reviewers what rating to choose, what words to use, which staff member to mention, or what specific content to include;
- selectively solicit only positive reviews, discourage or block negative reviews, or route only positive Reviewers to public review platforms;
- use private feedback or sentiment routing to prevent, hide, suppress, or punish honest negative reviews;
- post reviews for Reviewers, control a Reviewer's device or account, create a Google account or other platform account for a Reviewer, or ask a Reviewer to share login credentials;
- use employees, contractors, family members, competitors, vendors, or others with a conflict of interest to submit reviews unless the platform clearly permits it and the relationship is properly disclosed where required;
- post on a competitor's listing or encourage others to do so in order to harm that competitor's reputation; or
- generate unusual review patterns, repeated review text, coordinated campaigns, or rating activity intended to manipulate a business profile, search results, rankings, or public perception.
AI-Assisted Review Drafts and Reviewer Control
ReviewCook may provide AI-assisted draft text, prompts, tags, translations, summaries, suggested replies, or similar features. You must use those features honestly and with human review. You must not:
- use AI-generated text to describe experiences that did not happen or details that the Reviewer did not provide;
- present an AI-generated draft as the Reviewer's final statement unless the Reviewer has had a fair chance to read, edit, reject, and approve it;
- design prompts, tags, templates, or workflows to produce only positive, exaggerated, deceptive, repetitive, or misleading reviews;
- use AI-generated review text to make health, legal, financial, safety, or other sensitive claims that have not been verified by the Reviewer;
- translate, rewrite, or summarize a Reviewer's feedback in a way that changes its meaning, rating, tone, or substance without proper review and approval; or
- use AI outputs without appropriate human review where the output may affect a person, business, legal right, compliance obligation, or public-facing review.
Automation, Auto-Posting, and Browser Tools
Some ReviewCook features may help streamline review workflows, copy or insert draft text, open review pages, or assist with browser-based actions. You must use those features only in a lawful way and only where permitted by the applicable platform, browser, device, account, and network rules. You must not:
- use automation to submit reviews without the Reviewer's knowing, voluntary, and final action;
- use bots, emulators, device-tampering tools, modified operating systems, virtual devices, traffic farms, scripted clicks, or similar methods to mimic genuine engagement;
- bypass, defeat, or interfere with any platform's security controls, abuse-detection systems, rate limits, identity checks, user interface requirements, or technical restrictions;
- access, collect, store, or use a Reviewer's Google, social media, email, or other third-party account credentials;
- cause a review to be posted, revised, or removed without the Reviewer's own control and approval; or
- use automation in a way that could mislead a Reviewer, a review platform, consumers, regulators, or the public.
Communications, Marketing, and Review Requests
You must send review requests and related communications responsibly. You must not:
- send review requests to people who are not real customers, patients, guests, visitors, clients, or users of your products or services;
- generate, send, publish, route, or facilitate unsolicited, unauthorized, deceptive, or unlawful advertising, promotions, or commercial communications, including spam, phishing, or messages that violate anti-spam, privacy, consumer protection, or telecommunications laws;
- send messages without the required consent, lawful basis, sender identification, disclosures, or unsubscribe/opt-out mechanism where required by law;
- misrepresent who is sending a communication or where a QR code, link, form, hosted page, or review request will lead;
- use the Services in a way that could cause QR TIGER's domains, IPs, URLs, QR codes, infrastructure, or other customers' communications to be blocked, blacklisted, throttled, or denied by third parties;
- use misleading metadata, hidden text, hidden destinations, bait-and-switch routing, deceptive redirects, or deceptive content to manipulate recipients, platforms, consumers, or search visibility; or
- send review requests or feedback forms in a way that targets, exploits, harasses, embarrasses, or pressures Reviewers.
Security and Platform Integrity
You must not:
- breach, bypass, defeat, disable, probe, scan, or test any authentication, security, integrity, or access-control measures relating to the Services or any related systems or networks;
- access, modify, search, scrape, monitor, extract, or use non-public areas of the Services except through publicly supported interfaces or as expressly authorized by QR TIGER in writing;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decode, tamper with, or hack the Services;
- use spoofing, phishing, social engineering, credential theft, token theft, header manipulation, session hijacking, or similar techniques;
- interfere with, impair, or disrupt any host, network, user, system, API, infrastructure, database, communications channel, or security mechanism connected with the Services;
- overwhelm or attempt to overwhelm the Services by imposing an unreasonably large load, excessive API traffic, abusive automation, bulk account creation, denial-of-service techniques, or any behavior that consumes extraordinary resources beyond normal or documented use;
- introduce or transmit malware, ransomware, spyware, malicious code, bots, worms, Trojan horses, scripting exploits, or any similar harmful technology; or
- use the Services to conduct security attacks, benchmark availability or performance for competitive purposes, or facilitate abuse of another network, system, or service.
Illegal, Harmful, and Fraudulent Activity
You must not use the Services:
- for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law, regulation, court order, sanctions regime, or governmental requirement;
- to commit fraud, impersonation, identity theft, deception, extortion, harassment, stalking, threats, or abuse;
- to engage in phishing, spoofing, misleading redirection, deceptive campaigns, fake identities, false affiliation claims, or concealment of the origin of any content, communication, or traffic;
- to promote or facilitate unlawful schemes, counterfeit goods, fraud, scams, malware distribution, or unlawful circumvention of legal requirements;
- in a way that is defamatory, libelous, obscene, hateful, violent, exploitative, discriminatory, or harmful to minors; or
- in any manner that infringes, misappropriates, or violates the rights of QR TIGER, another user, a Reviewer, or any third party.
Content and User Materials
You must not submit, upload, publish, display, share, store, generate, route, link to, or otherwise use through the Services any content, data, code, links, fonts, designs, media, templates, tags, prompts, review drafts, replies, translations, or other materials that:
- you do not have the legal right to use, display, process, distribute, or transmit;
- infringe or misappropriate copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other intellectual property or personal rights;
- are unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, abusive, pornographic, obscene, harassing, threatening, hateful, violent, or otherwise objectionable;
- promote bigotry or hatred against a person or group based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, caste, veteran status, or similar protected status;
- contain malicious code, unauthorized scripts, embedded exploits, hidden redirects, or other harmful content;
- unlawfully collect, store, disclose, scrape, or exploit personal data or confidential information of other persons;
- contain private, confidential, financial, medical, government-identification, account, or contact information about another person without a lawful basis and all required consents;
- promote restricted or regulated goods or services in a way that violates applicable law or third-party platform rules; or
- could reasonably expose QR TIGER, its users, Reviewers, or third parties to legal liability, reputational harm, infrastructure abuse, or security risk.
Privacy, Personal Data, and Regulated Use
You must use the Services in a way that respects privacy and data-protection laws. You must not:
- process personal data through the Services without providing required notices and obtaining required consents or another lawful basis;
- upload, request, collect, or transmit Regulated Data, or use the Services in regulated or high-risk environments, without QR TIGER's prior written approval and any required supplemental terms;
- ask Reviewers to include sensitive personal data in public reviews, AI-generated drafts, tags, prompts, feedback forms, or review replies;
- use the Services for unlawful surveillance, tracking, profiling, scraping, or collection of personal data;
- collect, store, disclose, sell, share, or exploit data about Reviewers or users of the Services except as permitted by your agreement with QR TIGER and applicable law;
- use the Services with children or minors in a manner that violates applicable privacy, consumer protection, education, health, advertising, or child-safety laws; or
- use the Services in connection with activities requiring licensed professional judgment where an inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable output could reasonably cause significant harm, unless QR TIGER has expressly approved such use in writing.
Google and Other Third-Party Platforms
ReviewCook may help you interact with third-party platforms, including Google Business Profile, Google Maps, browsers, email providers, messaging services, analytics tools, CRMs, hosting providers, domain providers, and payment processors. You must not:
- violate any terms, policies, rights, or technical restrictions of any third-party platform used in connection with the Services;
- use the Services to facilitate infringement, abuse, scraping, misuse, manipulation, or circumvention of any third-party platform or infrastructure;
- represent that QR TIGER or ReviewCook is affiliated with, endorsed by, certified by, sponsored by, or partnered with Google or any other third party unless QR TIGER has expressly authorized that claim in writing and the claim is true;
- upload or use third-party materials without all necessary permissions and licenses;
- use the Services to make false or misleading claims about a business profile, location, product, service, certification, license, ranking, rating, endorsement, or affiliation; or
- use the Services in a way that could cause third-party platforms to suspend, restrict, remove, reject, delay, flag, downgrade, or otherwise moderate content, accounts, profiles, listings, integrations, or communications.
QR Codes, Physical Stands, Stickers, and Hosted Destinations
If you use ReviewCook QR codes, acrylic stands, wood blocks, stickers, hosted pages, custom domains, redirects, or downloadable print materials, you must use them accurately and safely. You must not:
- place, print, display, or distribute QR codes, stands, stickers, or review requests on property, counters, tables, packaging, receipts, websites, menus, or other materials without all required rights and permissions;
- replace, cover, alter, deface, or redirect another business's QR codes, signs, labels, links, review materials, or customer communications;
- connect a QR code or review flow to the wrong business, wrong location, wrong profile, competitor profile, misleading destination, or unrelated campaign;
- use QR codes, redirects, custom domains, or hosted pages for phishing, malware, credential collection, unwanted downloads, deceptive routing, or bait-and-switch destinations;
- use print-ready assets, templates, logos, photos, fonts, or designs that you do not have the right to use;
- display ReviewCook materials in a way that violates venue rules, franchise rules, lease obligations, brand guidelines, consumer-protection laws, or local advertising rules; or
- continue using physical or digital materials after QR TIGER has suspended, disabled, or required changes to the related account, QR code, destination, or campaign.
Fair Use; Capacity; Abuse of Unlimited Features
If your plan includes features described as "unlimited" or without fixed caps, you may not exploit those features far beyond normal, reasonable, intended, or documented use. QR TIGER may determine, acting reasonably, that use is abusive where it materially strains infrastructure, circumvents pricing logic, defeats plan design, creates disproportionate risk, or exceeds fair operational behavior.
Examples of prohibited conduct include:
- abnormal or abusive scan volumes generated through bots, self-triggering loops, traffic laundering, click farms, fake store traffic, or artificial review events;
- bulk or automated account creation outside publicly supported workflows;
- excessive API calls, redirect traffic, hosted content behavior, AI-generation requests, QR scans, analytics exports, or webhook activity that materially exceeds the intended plan design;
- using one account, workspace, QR code, location, or subscription to support unrelated third parties or operate as a service bureau without written approval;
- sharing logins, access tokens, API keys, or browser scripts outside the authorized account or business location;
- repeated or patterned conduct intended to avoid usage-based charges, plan upgrades, location limits, user limits, or other commercial terms; or
- using the Services to create review farms, mass-generated review pages, synthetic traffic, or other activity that does not reflect real customer interactions.
Agency, Franchise, Multi-Location, and Reseller Use
Unless your plan or written agreement permits it, you must not use the Services on behalf of unrelated third parties, clients, franchisees, affiliates, or locations. If QR TIGER permits multi-location, agency, franchise, or reseller use, you remain responsible for:
- ensuring each business, location, profile, QR code, hosted page, review request, and destination is accurate and properly authorized;
- obtaining all client, franchise, venue, brand, domain, data, and platform permissions required for your use;
- ensuring all staff, contractors, locations, and clients follow these TOAU;
- separating accounts, data, and permissions where required by law, contract, or platform rules; and
- not using one customer's data, reviews, QR codes, profile information, analytics, or feedback to benefit another customer or unrelated business without proper authorization.
High-Risk and Prohibited Use Cases
Unless expressly approved in writing by QR TIGER, you may not use the Services:
- in any manner involving Protected Health Information or other regulated health data;
- as part of critical infrastructure, emergency response, life-support, safety-critical, or military decision-making systems;
- for illegal gambling, unlawful financial promotions, payday lending where prohibited, or other regulated financial activities not approved by QR TIGER;
- for political or electoral manipulation, unlawful lobbying communications, voter suppression, targeted disinformation campaigns, or undisclosed influence operations;
- to facilitate unlawful discrimination or unlawful bias against individuals or groups;
- to create, distribute, or promote adult sexual content, exploitative content, terrorist content, violent extremism, child exploitation, dangerous instructions, or content promoting serious physical harm;
- to sell, promote, or facilitate restricted goods or services where doing so would violate law or platform rules, including weapons, illegal drugs, tobacco or nicotine products, regulated pharmaceuticals, counterfeit goods, or unlawful health claims; or
- in any way that could reasonably create serious legal, physical, financial, privacy, safety, or reputational harm because the Services were not designed, marketed, or contractually approved for that use.
AI-Powered Features Generally
If QR TIGER makes AI-powered or machine-learning-enabled features available, you must not use them:
- to provide legal, medical, financial, or other licensed professional advice as a substitute for qualified human judgment;
- to make or directly facilitate automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without all safeguards required by applicable law;
- to generate unlawful misinformation, disinformation, deepfakes, fraudulent impersonation content, fake endorsements, fake testimonials, or manipulated reviews;
- in healthcare, employment, education, credit, insurance, biometric identification, law enforcement, or other high-risk contexts unless expressly approved by QR TIGER in writing; or
- without appropriate human review where outputs may materially affect persons, rights, businesses, public-facing content, or compliance obligations.
AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, repetitive, offensive, or unsuitable for a particular use. You are responsible for reviewing, approving, and using AI outputs lawfully. QR TIGER may disclaim warranties, liability, support, and indemnity for AI-generated outputs to the fullest extent permitted by law and the applicable agreement.
Enforcement and Remedies
Without limiting any other rights or remedies, QR TIGER may, in its sole discretion acting reasonably and in good faith:
- investigate suspected violations of these TOAU;
- remove, disable, or block content, redirects, pages, QR codes, review flows, browser tools, scripts, domains, or destinations;
- throttle, suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts, users, integrations, APIs, automations, or Services;
- require corrective action, information, cooperation, customer notices, reviewer notices, or remediation from you;
- report unlawful conduct to law enforcement, regulators, rights holders, service providers, platforms, or impacted third parties where appropriate;
- preserve relevant information for investigative, legal, compliance, fraud-prevention, or security purposes; and
- refuse to restore content, destinations, automations, or access where doing so could create legal, security, platform, or reputational risk.
QR TIGER is not obligated to monitor use of the Services, but may do so to protect the Services, enforce its agreements, comply with law, investigate suspected abuse, or respond to third-party platform, rights-holder, regulator, or user reports.
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of a violation of these TOAU, security abuse, platform abuse, or unlawful use of the Services, you must promptly notify QR TIGER at it@qrtiger.com.
Survival and Interpretation
These TOAU supplement, and do not replace, the ReviewCook Terms and Conditions and any applicable Order Form or signed agreement. In the event of a conflict regarding acceptable use, review integrity, reviewer choice, AI use, automation, safety, abuse prevention, or platform integrity, these TOAU will control unless a signed written agreement expressly states otherwise.
