Anti-Spam Policy

Effective Date: June 4, 2026  ·  Last Updated: June 4, 2026

This Anti-Spam Policy explains how ReviewCook customers may use our Services to collect feedback using QR codes and AI-assisted review drafts. By accessing our Website, signing up for our Services, and agreeing to our Terms and Conditions, you are also agreeing to this Anti-Spam Policy in its entirety. To enforce our policy, we carefully monitor how our customers use our Services.

ReviewCook is provided by QR TIGER PTE. LTD. ("QR TIGER," "ReviewCook," "we," "us," or "our"). This Policy applies to all ReviewCook customers, account owners, administrators, employees, contractors, agencies, franchisees, developers, and anyone acting on behalf of a ReviewCook customer.

If this Policy conflicts with a stricter anti-spam, privacy, telecommunications, consumer protection, advertising, or review platform rule, the stricter rule applies.

1

What is Spam?

Spam is defined based on context. It generally refers to any unsolicited commercial message which has been sent to an individual without his or her permission. You need to have permission to send out commercial messages.

On one hand, spam pertains to any content not based on a genuine, firsthand customer experience, or content used to manipulate a business's ratings. Spam content may be generated by bots, come from fake accounts, or contain commercial advertisements and promotions.

2

The simple rule

Use ReviewCook only to request genuine feedback and reviews from real customers. ReviewCook is not primarily an email, SMS, or telemarketing platform. ReviewCook helps businesses invite real customers to scan an AI-powered QR code, select a rating, receive an AI-assisted review draft they can edit, and choose whether to post a genuine review on Google Maps or another review destination.

You must not use ReviewCook to send spam, create fake engagement, manipulate ratings, pressure reviewers, hide negative experiences, or mislead Google, reviewers, consumers, or any third-party platform.

In practice, this means you must:

  • request reviews only from people who had a genuine experience with your business;
  • make review requests honest, clear, and respectful;
  • allow reviewers to decide whether to leave a review;
  • allow reviewers to decide what rating to give;
  • allow reviewers to edit or reject any AI-assisted review draft;
  • avoid incentives, pressure, threats, or misleading statements;
  • follow Google's review policies and any other platform rules that apply; and
  • comply with all applicable anti-spam, privacy, telecommunications, advertising, and consumer protection laws.

ReviewCook is not a tool for spam, fake reviews, review gating, rating manipulation, deceptive traffic, or unsolicited bulk marketing.

3

QR codes are not automatic consent

A person does not automatically consent to marketing messages, repeated reminders, or future contact merely by scanning a QR code.

If you use ReviewCook QR codes, stands, stickers, table tents, links, hosted pages, or feedback flows, you must make sure any request for future communications is clear and lawful.

For example:

  • a QR scan may take a reviewer to a review or feedback flow;
  • a separate consent step may be needed for marketing messages;
  • the consent language must identify who will send messages;
  • the consent language must explain what type of messages may be sent;
  • the reviewer must be able to decline non-essential communications;
  • pre-checked boxes must not be used where active consent is required;
  • consent must not be hidden in general terms where clear consent is required; and
  • future messages must respect the choices the reviewer made.

Do not use a ReviewCook QR flow to trick people into joining a marketing list, receiving repeated reminders, or receiving unrelated promotional messages.

4

Email Requirements

In the event that ReviewCook added a feature on automating or sending outbound emails or commercial messages to your reviewers/customers, you must ensure that all email recipients to whom you send an email or messages through ReviewCook must have opted into or consented to receiving communications from you. All messages sent using ReviewCook must contain an "unsubscribe" link that allows any recipient to remove themselves from receiving your email messages. You will actively manage and process unsubscribe requests received by you within ten (10) days of the recipient's submission.

You are strictly prohibited from using purchased, rented, borrowed, or scraped email lists. All recipients must have provided explicit, verifiable consent to receive emails from you.

You must maintain appropriate suppression lists for people who have opted out, withdrawn consent, complained, or otherwise asked not to be contacted. You must check your contact lists against your suppression lists before sending messages.

5

Google Maps and third-party review platform rules

ReviewCook may help streamline the process of leaving a genuine review on Google Maps or another supported review destination. ReviewCook does not control Google Maps, Google Business Profile, or any other third-party review platform. You are responsible for following all rules that apply to any review destination you use.

If you use ReviewCook in connection with Google Maps, Google Business Profile, Google Merchant Center, Google Product Ratings, Google Customer Reviews, shopping listings, or any other Google service, you are responsible for reviewing and complying with all applicable Google policies.

At a minimum, you should review:

You are responsible for making sure that any review, rating, feedback request, AI-assisted review draft, QR code flow, review feed, product-rating submission, or merchant-review submission complies with the Google policies that apply to your use case.

ReviewCook does not control Google and does not guarantee that Google will accept, display, retain, count, rank, approve, or treat any review, rating, review feed, product rating, merchant rating, business profile, or listing favorably.

Other Anti-Spam Legislation

Depending on the location of your business, you may be subject to a specific anti-spam law in force in your jurisdiction. With this, you must determine whether you are subject to your national anti-spam law, and if you are, to be compliant with said law. As outlined in the Terms and Conditions, we shall in no way be held responsible for your violation of any anti-spam law which may be applicable to you, and may terminate your account for violation(s) of said laws.

You must comply with all anti-spam, privacy, telecommunications, advertising, and consumer protection laws that apply to your communications.

Depending on the channel and recipient location, these laws may include:

  • the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act;
  • the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act and FCC rules;
  • U.S. state telemarketing, text messaging, and consumer protection laws;
  • the EU GDPR and ePrivacy rules;
  • national EU direct marketing laws;
  • UK direct marketing and privacy rules;
  • Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act;
  • Singapore's Do Not Call rules;
  • Singapore's Spam Control Act; and
  • similar laws in other jurisdictions.

You are responsible for understanding which laws apply to your campaigns and for complying with them.

7

Spam Monitoring

We constantly monitor each user's compliance to our Anti-Spam Policy and if a violation is found, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without refund. If your spam complaint rate exceeds 0.1%, which indicates that recipients did not consent to receive your messages, your account will be suspended pending review.

We enforce this policy through automated monitoring, automated pausing, and manual review. Accounts terminated are not eligible for reinstatement.

8
